These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Promap platform ("Promap", "we", "us"), available at promap.ai. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Promap is an AI-assisted interview practice platform for talent and a screening tool for employers. The service uses third-party large language models and voice providers (currently Google Gemini Live and OpenAI) to simulate interviews and analyse responses. Outputs are AI-generated and may contain errors.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate signup information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraud.
3. Plans, credits, and billing
Free accounts include a monthly credit allotment for AI-powered actions. Paid plans (Pro, Student) provide larger allotments and additional features. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Top-up credits are non-refundable once consumed. Subscription refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support@promap.ai.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misrepresent your identity, credentials, or work history
- scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass usage limits
- upload content you do not own or have rights to
- use the service to harass, defame, or discriminate
- circumvent technical protections, including rate limits or entitlement gates
5. Your content
You retain ownership of resumes, transcripts, recordings, and other content you submit ("Content"). You grant Promap a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, process, and display your Content for the purpose of operating the service. We will not sell your Content to third parties.
Practice session recordings (audio and video) are stored to power the report and packet features. You can delete recordings via the settings page or by deleting your account.
6. Public packets
Talent users may publish a public packet at /talent/[slug]. Visibility is user-controlled (hidden, private URL, visible, actively looking). You are responsible for the accuracy of any claims displayed on your packet. Promap labels self-reported claims separately from practice-derived evidence.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is". Promap does not guarantee employment outcomes, interview accuracy, or that any score reflects real-world hiring decisions. AI-generated content may be inaccurate; treat it as guidance, not fact.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Promap's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Deletion cascades to your profile, practice sessions, packet, contacts, billing records, and credit balance. Some data may be retained for legal or fraud-prevention purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
